Preserving African American Heritage in Loudoun County
Established in 2000, the Black History Committee collects, preserves, and promotes the history of African Americans who helped develop Loudoun County. Through research, publication of insightful works, and the organization of educational tours, the committee strives to preserve and promote the rich heritage of the African American community. By fostering collaboration and education, the committee aims to safeguard significant sites, highlighting the African American contributions to Loudoun County.
