2025 Friends of Thomas Balch Library Annual Fundraiser
Past to Prose
The Friends of the Balch Library are hosting Past to Prose, a look into how the past influences the stories we craft today. Guest speaker Sharon Virts is a bestselling author known for her richly layered historical fiction that blends meticulous research with psychological suspense and immersive storytelling. Steeped within her love for all things Virginia is her deep affection for Loudoun and her dedication to contextualizing the past within a broader story. At Past to Prose, Sharon will share how her passion for history and her deep interest in primary sources shape her stories.
From 4-5 PM Sharon will also host a book signing. Available for immediate sale will be Veil of Doubt and, The Grays of Truth. Resales for the re-released Masque of Honor will also be available.
All funds support the Friends’ programming, events, and research endeavors conducted on behalf of the Thomas Balch Library and the greater Loudoun community.
Each ticket includes a complimentary glass of white or rosé!
